I grew up learning the value of preserving memories, as I frequently sifted through my grandma’s countless photo albums as a child. Or watched my grandpa fill roll after roll of film. This created an inevitable love for photographs that I couldn’t shake. Being a natural romantic, it’s no surprise I ended up right where I am today.

I am nostalgia’s biggest fan, which inspires my focus to create an experience that feels meaningful & true to you. The wedding industry loves to tell couples what they should do, but I’m here to remind you that there are no rules. There’s nothing wrong, per se, with the traditional wedding celebration. But to the couples who come to me, it doesn’t feel right for them. Instead, they want a day that feels like home—deeply personal, free from expectations, & filled with moments that truly matter.

Which is why I’ve pulled away from the wedding industry’s standards & leaned into what’s best for my couples. I believe you deserve a wedding experience rooted in real connection. One where you’re fully present, soaking in every moment as it naturally unfolds. Because all you truly have is this exact moment in time. Your love is a sacred energy. One that should be fostered & celebrated mindfully.

I’m an introvert at heart.

I’m fully at peace when I’m at home with the cat. When I do breach the front door, I’m likely stopping to smell (& photograph) the roses, or foraging plants on a hiking trail.

Nature grounds me.

I stop to appreciate it as much as possible. Lucky for me, it’s also where my creativity thrives. Honoring love & nature simultaneously is what breathes life into me. In my mind, the two are one & the same. We are all love, & we are all nature.

There are no obligations when it comes to celebrating your love.

That includes wearing white, sleeping separately the night before, having a certain person walk you down the aisle, or anything else you picture when you think “wedding.” If it feels right? Great. If it doesn’t? Throw it out the window, along with your expectations. You’re here because you’ve found your person. On your big day, all of your interactions should be focused on celebrating moments big & small with each other & your loved ones.

Your wedding day deserves true alignment.

You deserve to live in your moments knowing they are fully intentional. By creating a mindful & comfortable involvement, full of sentiment & purpose, you are able to relish in your slow moments. In ditching the old wedding paradigms & rigid copy/paste timelines, we’re able to foster a sincere experience that is completely authentic to you. And if you know that’s what you want, but don’t know where to start, I’m here to guide you.

Your photographer should be completely in sync with you.

That means if you dream of traditional wedding etiquette or a fast paced event, we might not be a good fit for each other (& that’s okay). As the person who spends the most time with you on your wedding day, the connection between us will foster the connection in your photos. It’s with your best interest in mind that we jive completely. I don’t want to be just another vendor, I want to be your friend.
