Amidst the whirlwind of excitement & butterflies, maintaining a sense of grounding is key to fully savoring your moments.

My main goal as your photographer is to help you get into a state of feeling present. With this mindful approach, when you look back on your photos, they will feel genuine. You’ll remember exactly how you felt because you were fully present.

These tips will help you cultivate an experience of presence that will go far beyond your wedding day.

1. Physically

Prioritize self care to help you feel relaxed yet energized. Activities like yoga, breath work, or a morning walk can put you more at ease.

Your peace of mind starts in the body.

Ground yourself with your senses. Notice the weather, how the breeze feels, what scents are your favorite. Soak these in. & water, lots of it.

2. Mentally

Approach your day with mindfulness practices to keep you mentally grounded.

Remain presently grounded by letting go of exceptions & worries, while focusing on what truly matters: your love & celebration.

Drop the notion that the day must be a certain way & embrace the unique unfolding.

3. Emotionally

You'll go through a range of emotions during this time & that's completely normal.

Surround yourself with supportive people who create a positive vibe. It's okay to lovingly keep some folks at a distance, too.
